Preliminary results for the 2008-2009 college year are
now available - 21 states had participants send reports in of food raising
efforts for a total of 1,415,554 pounds of donated food to help feed
the hungry. These initial results will be augmented by more reports
from several other states and food banks within the next few weeks.

the results show continued growth in the efforts of STUFH to help feed
the needy in all areas.
